<p>一百二十万张特殊的奥运首日封在星期五发行了。北京市民急忙把这些信封作为纪念品抢购一空。记者张璐报道。</p> <p>1.2 million special Olympic First Day Envelopes were issued on Friday. Beijing residents rushed to snap them up as souvenirs. Zhang Lu reports.</p> <p>首日封受到本地居民的热烈欢迎，他们在邮局前排成长队。 </p> <p>The First Day Envelope is warmly welcomed by local residents who formed a long line in front of post offices. </p> <p>- 和许多人一样，刘军（音译）已经等待了好几个小时。 - 我不感觉累。看看 – 这么多人都在等。 </p> <p>-Like many others, Liu Jun has been waiting for hours. -I don’t feel tired. Look – so many people are waiting. </p> <p>-一早到这来的人们以长长等待换来他们想要的。 -我们不能在现场观看奥运会的开幕式和期间的比赛…</p> <p>-The people who arrived early were rewarded for their long wait. -We cannot watch the Opening Day ceremony and the matches onsite... </p> <p>...所以我们买一些首日封作为纪念品，而我要寄给不能来北京的我的朋友们。 </p> <p>...so we buy some First Day Envelopes as souvenirs, and I will post them for my friends who cannot come to Beijing.</p> <p>-除了纪念信封之外，人们还买一些奥运纪念邮票。 -这些邮票非常美丽非常珍贵。真的，真的很好。</p> <p>-In addition to the envelopes, people also bought Olympic stamps. -These stamps are beautiful and precious. It’s a good keepsake.</p> <p>因为许多人都想要首日封和明信片，北京邮政局将延长 8 月 8 日邮戳的使用到周六。 </p> <p>Because so many people wanted First Day Envelopes and postcards, Beijing post offices will extend the use of the August 8th postmark till Saturday.</p> <p>2008 年 8 月 8 日。带邮戳的首日封将是北京奥运会开幕当天送给朋友的最佳礼物。 </p> <p>8th August, 2008.
